REGENCY COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT
At Regency, we care about our community and strive to make a difference and help transform the local community through positive actions. Our goal is to leave a lasting legacy by supporting local charities and engaging with projects and campaigns aimed at empowering as well as enriching and developing the community. This also includes using our resources to assist and help non-profitable organisations.
CHARITY PARTNERSHIP: AYRSHIRE CANCER SUPPORT (ACS)
In November 2021 we announced our two years partnership with Ayrshire Cancer Support because we strongly believe in and support the work carried out by the charity. ACS has been operating in Ayrshire since 1982, helping support adults when cancer affects their life. Recently they have extended their services to include support for children and young people who have been affected by cancer across Ayrshire.
On average ACS supports a total of over 23,000 patient/client contacts free of cost. Some of their achievements include building Ayrshire’s biggest free patient transport service, developing professional counselling and well-being support and providing a safe, friendly space in their Kilmarnock centre for people often isolated because of their cancer diagnosis.
Since our partnership, we have sponsored as well as participated in fundraising activities and used our resources to support the credible work carried out by the charity in the community.
REGENCY GIVING AND SPONSORSHIP
Since our humble beginnings over 20 years ago, giving back and supporting the community has always been inherent to our company’s values. Giving back to the community whether it is through providing financial assistance to charities/non-profitable organisations, volunteering, sponsoring, or participating in a great cause, or using our resources for the greater good of the community reminds us that, we couldn’t have come this far without the support of the community. Therefore, everything we do at Regency now more than ever is shaped by our social value of giving back through various means.
