Modern slavery policy
Regency is committed to preventing and eradicating acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from within our own business and from within our supply chain.
Regency acknowledges our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and commits to ensuring transparency within our company and with suppliers of goods and services to Regency.
Regency is a family-run business providing professional facilities management services to private, commercial and public sector clients. We have relationships with suppliers of products and occasional subcontract service providers. These external organisations comprise our supply chain.
As part of our policy and support for eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking wherever it may exist, Regency commits to reviewing supplier processes and their commitments to modern-day slavery and human trafficking eradication in their everyday operations to ensure that no Regency project or service encourages or facilitates these heinous practices.
Where any supplier to Regency is found to be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking, Regency will cease to trade with the company immediately, and will inform the relevant authorities of our findings.
As an enhancement to our staff ethics training, Regency ensures all staff have access to and complete a training module which enables Regency staff to identify and respond to signs of modern slavery and human trafficking and encourages staff to anonymously report suspected violations.
We continue to improve our sourcing processes and review our approach to modern slavery through adherence to regulatory requirements and available guidance.
All Regency directors and managers take and accept the responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and will ensure adequate training and resources are always available to ensure this policy can be effectively implemented, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not occurring within Regency or its supply chain.
